Dion VanKehrberg is the owner and master stylist at Salon Dion in Marysville, where he and his wife, Paula, have been creating beautiful styles and lasting relationships since 2002. He has also owned other. salons around the metro Detroit area over his career. A fourth-generation stylist, Dion grew up immersed in the beauty industry — his family owned salons and beauty schools, sparking a lifelong passion for creativity, education, and people.
Throughout his career, Dion has collaborated with leading industry companies in which he has earned a position as a master stylist. He has been trained in barbering and cosmetology. Competing in competitions in mens and womens hair cutting, avant garde hair, up styling and worked at New York Fashion Week, sharing his expertise in advanced cutting and coloring techniques with stylists across the country. He has also mentored numerous apprentices, helping shape the next generation of talented professionals.
In the salon, Dion is known for his personalized approach and down-to-earth personality. He takes the time to understand each client’s lifestyle and goals, creating looks that are stylish, flattering, and easy to maintain.

Paula VanKehrberg | Stylist & Beauty Professional
Paula VanKehrberg is a fourth-generation stylist with more than 20 years of experience in the beauty industry. Her passion lies in helping clients look and feel their absolute best through personalized hair and makeup artistry.
Her expertise includes custom color, extensions, precision cutting, and bridal styling, as well as microblading for flawlessly defined brows. Paula has brought her artistry to the runways of New York Fashion Week, where she worked as a platform artist for Rusk International Hair Products.
Known for her creativity, warmth, and attention to detail, Paula ensures every guest’s experience is comfortable and fun. She believes that beauty should be empowering — every client should leave the chair feeling confident and refreshed.
Together with her husband, Dion, Paula co-owns Salon Dion, a space where expertise and family tradition meet. For Paula, the salon isn’t just a workplace — it’s a welcoming community filled with laughter, connection, and care.
